For Porsche ballast, whether genuine one or OEM one, need to program. A Porsche-specific computer (such as Porsche PIWIS TESTER II) is required to write the program to ballast to activation.
What we have to do is using the PIWIS TESTER to copy the program from old one to new one. And some vehicles can be activated online.
Please do not purchase if you cannot confirm to activate it. Otherwise, any cost of return will be borne by the buyer.
Our Porsche ballast is OEM one, it does have a built-in VIN number for testing in production, it is not used.
